A very astringent and malty brown ale with a heavy does of fruit.

BUTTE CREEK Pale Ale
5% ABV

Golden clear in appearance; nice warm hoppy flavour, a bit cloying on the palette. Not a huge amount of alcohol in the overall taste
THWAITES Flying Shuttle
4.9% ABV
Dark brown, cloudy
Nice spicy hit on the nose; Not a huge amount of lasting head but some nice creamy lacing on the glass.
Nice fresh taste, quite fruity with a bit of a hoppy overtone. A bit too nutty (if you get me).
FYNE'S Hurricane Jack
Pale Ale
4.4% ABV

Clear blonde in colour
Not a huge amount of lasting head on this one; Hoppy zingy fruit on the palette, which lasts for a while. A sweet touch indeed. Nice overall, not really one for a session in my opinion, but quite low in alcohol so you'll be able to put away a few.

ODELLS 90 Shilling
5.3% ABV
Amber brown colour; nice and refreshing, especially cold; nice bready hoppiness to it, definitely one to return to.
A record of my own adventures in beer. A list of the beers I sample and my thoughts on them.
Photos are gloriously amateurish, and my own work.
